Our history
As is so often the case, the best ideas arise from everyday life. You may well have experienced it yourself: a candle burns down, wax drips onto the tablecloth, and with every passing minute, the risk of fire increases. It was in just such a moment that our idea was born — to create a stylish and safe candle alternative that elegantly overcomes all these problems.
So in 2012, we founded Qult Design and have been passionately dedicated to producing high-quality, long-lasting candles ever since. From the very beginning, two things have been at the heart of what we do: uncompromising quality and the sustainability of our products.
The development of our tealight holders, in particular, has been an exciting journey. Countless tests, adjustments and refinements in the production process were needed to create a product that meets both our own high standards and those of our customers.
Today, we are proud to offer unique, high-quality products — made in Europe. Our FARLUCE™ tealight holders continue to win over more and more people and have established themselves as a popular alternative to the traditional candle.

Qult is family
As a small family-run manufactory, we are based in the heart of East Westphalia. With us, everyone lends a hand — young and old alike. Even the younger generation already has a keen eye for design and quality and loves to share their opinion.
It’s this genuine family spirit and our shared passion for beautiful, high-quality products that make our work so special.
Every day, we take great pleasure in developing our ideas further and curating our range with great attention to detail. The close dialogue with our customers continues to inspire us and ensures that we are constantly refining and expanding our products.

2012: Founding of Qult Design GmbH
2015: Expansion of our production and storage facilities
2016: Launch of our Private Label offering • bespoke designs made possible through modern 360° UV printing
2021: Establishment of our own coating facility using environmentally friendly water-based paints • adding a splash of colour!
2022: Introduction of an innovative paint dosing system • enabling precise, custom colour creations based on our customers’ wishes
2024: Launch of Qult Living • expanding our range to include elegant indoor and outdoor lanterns and tealight holders, made in Europe
2025: Tradition meets innovation • 3D printing technology arrives at Qult.
